The legendary Woodstock Festival celebrates its 50th anniversary. An iconic gathering of the 1970s, the greatest artists performed there. Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, Santana, The Who, Richie Havens … the list goes on! To celebrate this anniversary, RTL Petit Matin is preparing a show with little onions. From 5:00 to 6:30, listeners will be able to meet Stéphanie Loire and columnist Colas Bedoy specially dressed for the occasion. They will propose to listen to the classics that marked the seventies. The arrival of the miniskirt, May 68, the hippie movement … The show will draw a postcard of this iconic decade. A retrospective of all the Unes from regional dailies published August 15, 1969 will also be proposed.

Beautiful people are expected on the air! Jean-Marie Perier will return to his career as a photographer. Middle figure, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Johnny Hallyday or Eddy Mitchell have passed his goal. The former mayor of Auvers-sur-Oise Jean-Pierre Béquet will also intervene. It is indeed in this small town of Val-d'Oise of nearly 7000 inhabitants that the Woodstock Festival nearly came back to life in 1971. Jefferson Airplaine, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones … With a line-up of madness, the organizers had planned everything … or almost! In fact, the more than 30,000 festival-goers who arrived on the site had to face a nightmarish weather. Gusts, thunderstorms, rain and mud. The time will finally be right for the festival in a few hours, whereas it should have been spread over 3 days.

Between anecdotes, archives and unpublished testimonies, find RTL Petit Matin this Thursday, August 15 from 05:00.
