The Australian Pink Floyd Show, The Dire Straits Experience, Abba Mania… All are currently on tour in the Zeniths.

Twenty years ago, the phenomenon of bands stand was still confined to the other side of the Channel. The Bootleg Beatles, for example, have existed there since the early 1980s. It was this group that inspired French producer Philippe Tassart to launch The Rabeats more than 20 years ago. Four friends of Amiens who became one of the most famous tribute band of the Beatles.

Legendary groups from the 1960s and 1970s

At the top of the most copied groups is Abba. Two hundred groups would criss-cross the world, tubes from the Swedish group slung over the shoulder!

The tribute bands have the particularity to reproduce the concerts of legendary groups, from the 1960s and 1970s, missing or separated. Unlike the original groups which most often over the years modernized the arrangements of their old songs, the tribute bands stick to the original versions, the ones that make fans swoon.

Hence their success with a nostalgic audience of quinquas and sixties. But also young spectators who discovered these repertoires without having the chance to see the creators.
